Symptoms of Anxiety
Generalized Anxiety Disorder GAD is a diagnosis for anxiety and symptoms of anxiety vary from person to person, but they all “provoke extreme fear or worry that interferes with daily life”.
Symptoms can cause intrusive thoughts, irritability, excessive worrying, Negative thoughts in the form of fears, the inner critic and judgment, can take over a person’s life. Children and teenagers also struggle with anxiety and if their parent doesn’t understand what is going on, it can make a child feel very alone and flawed due to adults not understanding what is really going on.
Anxiety can be debilitating and make a person suffer with contact fears, worrying and make it hard to manage normal daily activities at home, school or work. It can happen to people of all ages. Mindfulness and CBT can help reduce symptoms such as irritability, panic attacks, overwhelming fears and much more. It does take work to reduce the negative thoughts, but it will help tremendously if you can get better at this over time.
