Meet Tara Pellegrino Chowaniec LCSW, Assistant Director
Tara helps individuals, couples, and families facing personal and relationship challenges. She connects with clients through curiosity, deep compassion, and humor if the moment is right. She’s comfortable with tension and awkwardness and sees hard conversations as meaningful entry points for healing and growth.
If you like to know the “how” of her style, she draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), and somatic principles.Tara is also a certified Sex Therapy informed professional. She pairs deeper exploration with practical tools to support real-life shifts. When it fits, she incorporates creative and mindfulness-based methods—such as art, music, or film—to spark insight in unexpected ways.
