Meet Tara Chowaniec
Tara has experience helping people navigate a variety of challenges, including relationship issues, parenting, life transitions, grief, chronic illness, sexuality, and sexual well-being. Tara’s approach is down to earth, inclusive, and culturally sensitive, creating a warm environment where people can feel seen and heard.
Tara has completed the equivalent of level one training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Relational Life Therapy (RLT). She also uses narrative and psychodynamic modalities and encourages creative mindfulness.

Tara enjoys creating mixed media collages, attending live shows ranging from opera to post-punk bands, and exploring Montreal’s food scene and vintage stores. She’s down for trying new things, with the exception of anything involving hiking or heights!
